Cinnamon Picnic Cake Recipe

|Chopped nuts||1/2 Cup (16 tbs), mixed|
|Lemon juice||1 Tablespoon|
|Flour||2 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1/2 Teaspoon|
|Soda bicarbonate||1/2 Teaspoon|
|Sour cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Combine 1/4p sugar with the nuts and cinnamon and set aside. Cream butter with remaining sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, vanilla and lemon juice, beating well. Sift flour with baking powder, soda and salt and add alternately to butter mixture with sour cream. Pour the batter into a greased and bottom-lined 23cm square cake tin. Sprinkle with the cinnamon mixture. Bake in a preheated moderate oven 180C (350F) for 35-40 minutes or until a skewer inserted in centre comes out clean.
