Cinnamon Cherry Cobbler Recipe

Ingredients

 
1 No. 2 can (21/2 cups) pitted tart red cherries
 
1/3 cup sugar
 
1/3 cup red cinnamon candies
 
1 tablespoon quick-cooking tapioca
 
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
 
1 package refrigerated quick cinnamon rolls or refrigerated biscuits

Directions

Drain cherries, reserving juice.
Combine sugar, candies, tapioca, and reserved juice.
Cook, stirring constantly, over low heat until candies melt and mixture is thick and clear.
Stir in butter and cherries.
Pour into 10x6x1 1/2 inch baking dish.
Top hot cherries with rolls.
Bake in moderate oven (375°) about 20 minutes; drizzle with icing that comes in cinnamonroll package.
Serve warm with cream.
