Cinnamon Rolls Recipe

Basic Sweet Roll Dough
 
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
 
1/2 cup sugar
 
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
 
3/4 cup raisins (optional)
 
Confectioners' Icing

Directions

Roll each half of Basic Sweet Roll Dough into a 12x8-inch rectangle.
Brush each piece with half the melted butter or margarine.
Combine sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over dough.
Sprinkle with raisins, if desired.
Roll up each piece jelly-roll style, starting from long side; seal seam.
Slice each into 12 rolls.
Place rolls, cut side down, in 2 greased 9x1 1/2-inch round baking pans.
Cover and let rise in a warm place till double (about 35 minutes).
Bake at 375° for 18 to 20 minutes.
Drizzle Confectioners' Icing over warm rolls.
