Cinnamon Fruit Salad Recipe

Cinnamon fruit salad is a refreshing and delightful fruit salad. Prepared with added marshmallows and cream, th cinnamon fruit salad is best served after it is chilled.

Ingredients

 
1/4 cup red cinnamon candies
 
2 tablespoons vinegar
 
2 tablespoons water
 
Dash salt
 
3 beaten egg yolks
 
2 tablespoons honey
 
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
 
1 tablespoon lemon juice
 
2 cups sliced banana
 
3 cups diced unpared apple
 
1 cup miniature marshmallows
 
1 cup halved seedless green grapes
 
1/2 cup whipping cream, whipped

Directions

In small saucepan, combine first 4 ingredients.
Cook and stir till candies are dissolved.
In small bowl, combine egg yolks and honey.
Gradually stir hot cinnamon mixture into egg yolk mixture; return to saucepan.
Add butter.
Cook and stir 3 to 4 minutes, or till thickened; cool.
In large bowl, sprinkle lemon juice over banana; let stand a few minutes.
Add apple, marshmallows, and grapes.
Fold in cinnamon mixture and whipped cream.
Chill several hours or overnight.
