| Ground cinnamon | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Ground nutmeg | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Water | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Half and Half | 1 Cup (16 tbs) |
Directions
Core apples.
Cut a strip of peel around the top of each apple.
Place apples in a round, 2-quart microwave casserole or microwave ring mold.
Fill apples with raisins.
In a 1-quart microwave bowl, place brown sugar, butter, cinnamon, nutmeg and 1/2 cup water.
Cover and microwave on HIGH for 1 minute, 30 seconds.
Sugar should be melted, and mixture very hot.
Pour hot sugar mixture over and around apples.
Cover and microwave on HIGH for 12 minutes.
Turn dish 1/4 turn every 3 minutes.
Apples will be very tender.
Put apples into individual serving dishes.
Serve with half-and-half.
