Cinnamon Apples Recipe
Ingredients
1/2 cup frozen apple juice concentrate, thawed
4 teaspoons cornstarch
8 cups apple slices (about 10 medium)
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Directions
1. In a small bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of the apple juice concentrate with the cornstarch. Stir to mix, and set aside.
2. Place the apple slices, the remaining apple juice concentrate, and the cinnamon in a 2 1/2-quart pot, and bring the mixture to a boil over high heat. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 15 to 20 minutes, or just until the apples are tender.
3. Stir the cornstarch mixture and add to the apple mixture. Cook and stir until the sauce is thickened and clear. Remove from the heat, cool slightly.
