 Cake flour3 Cup(16 tbs), sifted
 Shortening3/4 Cup(16 tbs)
 1 Teaspoon
 Brown sugar1 1/3 Cup(16 tbs)
 Salt3/4 Teaspoon
 Eggs3
 Cinnamon1 Teaspoon
 Lemon juice1 Teaspoon
 Nutmeg1 Teaspoon
 Cider1 Cup(16 tbs)
 Cloves1/4 Teaspoon

Directions

Cream shortening and sugar; add beaten eggs.
Mix cider and lemon juice; add alternately with dry ingredients.
Bake in three greased 8" layer cake pans at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
Cool.
Fill and frost with cider filling and icing.
