 Butter2 Tablespoon
 Whites of 3 leeks, minced
 Chicken broth3 Cup (16 tbs)
 Potatoes4 , peeled
 Milk2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Crab meat5 Ounce, canned
 Dry sherry2 Ounce
 Kirsch1/2 Ounce
 Salt and pepper chives, chopped

Directions

In a saucepan, melt butter.
Cook leeks until tender.
Add broth and potatoes.
Bring to a boil.
Cover.
Over low heat, simmer 20 minutes.
In a blender, puree mixture.
Return to saucepan.
Fold in milk, crab, sherry and kirsch.
Reheat without boiling.
Season with salt and pepper.
Sprinkle with chopped chives.
