12 medium-sized potatoes
 
Water
 
4 eggs
 
3 celery stalks, thinly sliced
 
1 1/2 cups mayonnaise
 
1/2 cup milk
 
2 teaspoons salt
 
3/4 teaspoon pepper

Directions

1. In 5-quart saucepot over high heat, heat un-peeled potatoes and enough water to cover to boiling. Reduce heat to low; cover; simmer 25 to 30 minutes, until potatoes are fork-tender; drain. Cool potatoes slightly; peel and cut into 3/4-inch cubes. Hard-cook eggs; dice.
2. In large bowl, gently toss potatoes, diced eggs, and remaining ingredients.
