Chunky Peanut Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| Peanut oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Green onions | 3 , minced | |
| Garlic | 2 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| 1/8 teaspoon hot-pepper flakes, or to taste | ||
| 1 3/4 cups strong chicken stock | ||
| 3/4 cup roughly chopped peanuts | ||
| Lime juice | 1 Tablespoon, squeezed | |
| Dark brown sugar | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Minced cilantro | 2 Tablespoon | |
Directions
To prepare chunky peanut sauce, heat oil in saucepan.
Saute onions, garlic, and hot-pepper flakes for 2 minutes, stirring often.
Mix in stock, peanuts, lime juice, sugar, and cilantro.
Simmer for 5 to 6 minutes, stirring often.
If sauce cools and thickens, add hot water, 2 tablespoons at a time, until mixture reaches desired thickness.
