 Peanut oil2 Tablespoon
 Green onions3 , minced
 Garlic2 Clove (5gm), minced
 1/8 teaspoon hot-pepper flakes, or to taste
 1 3/4 cups strong chicken stock
 3/4 cup roughly chopped peanuts
 Lime juice1 Tablespoon, squeezed
 Dark brown sugar2 Tablespoon
 Minced cilantro2 Tablespoon

Directions

To prepare chunky peanut sauce, heat oil in saucepan.
Saute onions, garlic, and hot-pepper flakes for 2 minutes, stirring often.
Mix in stock, peanuts, lime juice, sugar, and cilantro.
Simmer for 5 to 6 minutes, stirring often.
If sauce cools and thickens, add hot water, 2 tablespoons at a time, until mixture reaches desired thickness.
