Chunky Oatmeal Bars Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter/Margarine | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs), softened | |
| 1 cup packed light brown sugar | ||
| Vanilla | 2 Teaspoon | |
| All purpose flour | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Unsweetened cocoa | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Baking powder | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Water | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Rolled oats | 2 Cup (16 tbs), uncooked | |
| Semi-sweet chocolate package | 1 | |
Directions
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Lightly grease a 9-inch square pan.
Cream butter with sugar until smooth.
Add vanilla, beating until light.
Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt in small bowl.
Blend into creamed mixture with water.
Stir in oats and chocolate chunks.
Spread dough evenly in prepared pan.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes or just until center feels firm.
Cool in pan on wire rack.
Cut into 2X 1-inch bars.
