Chunky Chocolate Brownies Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter stick | 1 , softened | |
| Firmly packed brown sugar | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Unsweetened chocolate square | 3 , melted | |
| Vanilla extract | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Eggs | 2 | |
| Flour | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Semi-sweet chocolate | 6 Ounce | |
| Pecans | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped |
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9-inch square pan.
2. In a medium bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, melted chocolate, and vanilla with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add flour and salt and beat on low speed just until batter is smooth, scraping side of bowl frequently with a rubber spatula. Fold in chocolate chunks and nuts. Turn batter into prepared pan, leveling surface.
3. Bake 25 to 30 minutes, or until top is shiny and dry and a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Remove pan to a rack, cut into 16 squares, and let cool completely. Store in an airtight container.
