Chuck Wagon Beans Recipe
Ingredients
| Pork and beans | 3 1 pound, baked | |
| Seasoned tomato sauce | 1 8 Ounce | |
| Onion | 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Catsup | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Brown sugar | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Prepared mustard | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Tabasco sauce | 4 Drop | |
| 6 slices Canadian-style bacon | ||
Directions
In 2-quart casserole or bean pot, combine beans, tomato sauce, onion, catsup, brown sugar, and seasonings.
Bury bacon in beans.
Bake uncovered in slow oven (300°) 3 1/2 to 4 hours.
Toward end of cooking time, fork bacon to top.
Center with drained cooked or canned onions.
