Christmas Shortbread Recipe

1 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
2 1/4 cups robin hood presifted all purpose flour
Directions
Preheat oven to 300° F. (slow).
Cream the butter and gradually add the sugar.
Blend in the flour gradually.
Turn dough out on lightly floured board and knead slightly.
Roll out 1/4" thickness.
Cut in Christmas shapes.
Sprinkle with red or green sugar or decorate to suit.
Bake at 300° F. for 20-25 minutes.
