Christmas Pate Recipe
It doesn't take a gourmet to judge how appetizing and flavorful Christmas Pate using this recipe turns out. The Christmas Pate is made with Poultry which is easy to find at any grocery store. Ingredients
8 oz leftover cooked goose or turkey
4 oz butter or margarine
1 1/4 tablespoons dry sherry
Pinch of ground cloves
Pinch of black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
2 drops Tabasco sauce
2 oz extra butter or margarine, melted
Directions
Grind the goose or turkey.
Chop the meat finely if you do not have a grinder.
Cream butter or margarine well and beat in the ground poultry meat, sherry, cloves, pepper, salt, lemon juice and Tabasco sauce.
Press mixture into individual pots, smooth top and pour melted butter or margarine over top of each.
Cover with clear plastic wrap or aluminium foil and chill in refrigerator.
