Christmas Cookies Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter/Margarine | 1/2 pound | |
| Sugar | 1 1/2 Cup(16 tbs) | |
| Eggs | 2 | |
| Light corn syrup | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Flour | 3 Cup(16 tbs) | |
| Baking soda | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Cinnamon | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Ground ginger | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Allspice | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves (light) | ||
Directions
Cream the butter and sugar together.
Add the eggs and corn syrup.
Put 3 cups of flour in a 4-cup measure and add the rest of the ingredients.
Put the flour mixture together with the rest, working it into a stiff dough.
Wrap the dough in wax paper and refrigerate it for at least 2 hours.
On a floured board roll out the dough very thin.
Cut it with your favorite cookie cutters.
Bake the cookies for 10 minutes at 350°F.
