2/3cup shortening
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 cup flour
1 cup cocoanut
1 cup oatmeal
1/3 teaspoon soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1/3 teaspoon each: Cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice

Directions
Cream butter and sugar as usual; add egg, then other ingredients.
