Christmas Cake Recipe
Ingredients
| Dried fruit | 2 Pound, washed | |
| Water | 1 Pint | |
| Vegetable oil | 7 Fluid Ounce | |
| Self-raising wholemeal flour-1 pound (455 gram) | ||
| Blanched almonds | 2 Ounce | |
| Molasses | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Lemon Rind-1 lemon, grated | ||
| Pinch of spice | ||
Directions
MAKING
1) Mix all ingredients in order given and beat them nicely.
2) Take a well-lined, greased 9-inch (23 cm) cake tin and pour the batter in it.
3) Bake for 2 hours at 300 degrees and then decrease heat to 250 degrees. Cover the cake with greaseproof paper and bake for another 1 1/2-2 hours.
SERVING
4) Serve this special Christmas cake to kids and guests for Christmas tea party.
