Chow Yuk Recipe

Ingredients
8 ounces snow pea pods
1 bunch broccoli, stems and tops (approximately 1 pound)
1/2 cup sliced water chestnuts
1/2 cup sliced green onions
1 tablespoon fresh ginger
1/2 cup mushrooms
2 tablespoons peanut oil
2 tablespoons soya sauce
3 tablespoons dry sherry
Directions
Slice broccoli, water chestnuts, green onions, ginger and mushrooms early in day; cover and refrigerate until ready to cook.
Heat peanut oil in frying pan or wok.
Saute ginger for 2 minutes.
Add broccoli and water chestnuts.
Stir in soya sauce and sherry.
Cook 2 to 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add pea pods, mushrooms and green onions, stirring until heated through.
Serve with fried rice.
