Chow Mein Recipe

Ingredients
1 pound chow mein meat (1/2 pork, 1/2 veal)
2 cups diagonally sliced celery (1/2 -inch slices)
1 medium onion, sliced
1 can (4-ounces) mushroom stems and pieces, drained
3 tablespoons corn starch
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 can (16-ounces) chow mein vegetables, rinsed and drained
1 can (8 1/2 -ounces) water chestnuts, drained and sliced
1 cup water
1/2 teaspoon ginger
Directions
Combine chow mein meat, celery, onion and mushrooms in 2-quart casserole.
Cover.
Microwave 4 to 6 minutes on HIGH, or until meat loses its pink color.
Dissolve corn starch in soy sauce.
Stir into meat mixture.
Mix in chow mein vegetables, water chestnuts, water and ginger.
Cover.
Microwave 4 to 6 minutes on HIGH, or until vegetables are tender crisp.
Cover.
