Chow Mein Recipe
Chow Mein has a nice taste. The Soy sauce enhances the taste of Chow Mein. The noodles lovers should not miss Chow Mein.
Ingredients
3 tbsp cornstarch
1/3 cup soy sauce
10 oz canned water chestnuts, drained, sliced
19 oz canned bean sprouts, drained
7 oz canned mushrooms, in their juice
2 cups cooked leftover meat, diced
2 cups celery, cut into 1/2 inch diagonal slices
1 cup onions, minced
Cooked rice or fried noodles
Directions
In a 10 cup (2.5 L) microwave safe casserole dish, dilute cornstarch in soy sauce.
Mix in remaining ingredients, except rice.
Cook 10 minutes, on HIGH.
Remove from oven.
Stir once.
Continue cooking 10-12 minutes or until mixture thickens.
Remove from oven.
Let stand 5 minutes.
Ladle over a bed of rice or fried noodles.
