 Sweet cucumber pickles - 10 large
 Celery seed5 Tablespoon
 Turmeric4 Tablespoon
 Ginger2 Tablespoon
 Cinnamon4 Tablespoon
 Salt4 Tablespoon
 Mustard seed1 pound
 Cayenne1/8 Teaspoon
 Mace2 Tablespoon
 Ground allspice1 Tablespoon
 Vinegar2 1/2 Quart
 Brown sugar3 Pound

Directions

MAKING
1) In large pan add cold water. Cover cabbage, peppers and celery in water and let stand 30 minutes to crisp.
2) Drain out from water.
3) Chop vegetables and pickles medium fine. Add seed of two of the green peppers.
4) Add the mixture into cheesecloth. Make sure to squeeze out juice from vegetables and discard it.
5) Mix remaining ingredients to vegetables and boil for 15 minutes.
6) Transfer into hot sterilized jars, leaving 1/4-inch head space.
7) Seal immediately.

SERVING
8) Serve as a condiment.
