Choux Pastry Recipe
Time to pamper your palate with this Choux Pastry recipe. I prefer to make Choux Pastry as a Snack for all my family get-togethers. Try this Choux Pastry once and only once! Your loyalty to it forever is guaranteed!
Ingredients
55 grams (2 oz.) margarine or butter
150 ml. (5fl. oz.) water
85 grams (3 oz.) plain flour
2 large eggs
1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence, a pinch salt
Directions
1 Sieve the flour.
2 Put the margarine, water, salt and vanilla essence in a vessel and cook until the butter melts.
3 Now add the flour, remove from the heat and beat with a wooden spoon until the mixture forms into a smooth ball and leaves the sides of the vessel.
4 Cool the mixture.
5 Beat in the eggs, one at a time, beating each time vigorously with a wooden spoon.
Note: This pastry can be used for chocolate eclairs, cheese pakodas, strawberry cream puffs, profiteroles or cream buns etc.
