Ingredients
| 2 lb. Lean ground round steak | ||
| 1 onion, cut in eighths | ||
| 2 beef bouillon cubes | ||
| Hot water | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 4-oz. can whole mushrooms, drained reserving liquid | ||
| Soy sauce | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cornstarch | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Water chestnuts | 6 1/2 Ounce, drained | |
| Bean sprouts | 16 Ounce, drained | |
| 16-oz. can Chinese vegetables, drained | ||
| Pimiento | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
MAKING
1. In a nonstick skillet, brown the ground meat without any extra oil; add onion and cook for another five minutes and pour away the fat before progressing
2. In a bowl of hot water dissolve the bouillon cubes and mix along with the liquid from the mushrooms and allow to boil
3. Turn the heat down, simmer and let it thicken; add mushrooms, water chestnuts and chinese vegetables and cook till heated through

4. Add pimento strips and stir before serving
