Chop Suey Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 to 3 pork shoulder chops, boned, well trimmed and diced | ||
| 2 cups cubed cooked or raw chicken | ||
| Chicken broth | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 cup diagonally sliced celery | ||
| Soy sauce | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Sugar | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Water chestnuts | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), thinly sliced | |
| 1 1/2 cups bamboo shoots, in julienne strips | ||
Directions
Combine all ingredients in crock pot; stir well.
Cover and cook on low setting for 8 to 10 hours (on high setting for 4 to 5 hours).
If desired, thicken sauce with a cornstarch water paste just before serving.
