Choconut Cookies Recipe
The choconut cookies are chocolate chip and coconut cookies baked with vanilla and flour. Sweetned with brown sugar that compliments the flaked coconut, the choconut cookies also have nuts in them. simple yet delectable, the choconut cookies recipe is a keeper for a lovely anytime snack.
Ingredients
1 cup margarine
3/4 cup brown sugar.
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 cup chopped nuts flaked coconut
16 ozs. chocolate chips
Directions
Melt margarine in saucepan.
Mix in sugar.
Add flour, baking powder, vanilla, nuts and coconut.
Mix thoroughly.
Drop 1 inch balls onto baking sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 15 to 18 minutes, or until golden brown.
Melt chocolate chips with water in top of double boiler.
Dip flat end of cookies in mixture.
Sprinkle with nuts and coconut.
Mix in sugar.
Add flour, baking powder, vanilla, nuts and coconut.
Mix thoroughly.
