Chocolate Pie Recipe Video
Chocolate, pecans and the best of ingredients all together make this chocolate pecan pie recipe truly divine. Yummy pecans baked with a caramel syrup and topped with chocolate sauce is now possible to make right in your kitchen – even if you are just a beginner.
Ingredients
For the pie filling:
1 cup sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
½ tbsp vanilla extract
½ tbsp salt
3 whipped eggs
1 ½ cup pecans
For the caramel:
Butter – ¼ stick
Milk
Caramel pieces
For the chocolate sauce:
Butter
Milk
Chocolate pieces
Directions
Mix all the ingredients for the pie filling and keep aside.
For the caramel: Take a pan and add the butter and milk. When the butter melts, add the caramel pieces. Melt. Keep stirring continuously. Stir till you get a rich and smooth liquid. Pour half the caramel mixture into the pie filling. Mix well. Pour the mixture into the pie base and bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes.
For the chocolate sauce:
Take a pan. Add the butter and milk. When butter melts, add the chocolate pieces. Keep stirring. Add more milk if required to adjust the consistency of the chocolate sauce.
Take out the pie from the oven. Pour the chocolate syrup over it. When cool cut and serve.
