Chocolate-Topped Oatmeal Bars Recipe
Ingredients
1 (9.9-ounce) package coconut-pecan frosting mix
3 cups regular oats, uncooked
1 cup butter or margarine, melted
1/4 cup sugar
1 (6-ounce) package semisweet chocolate morsels
3/4 cup crunchy peanut butter
Directions
Combine frosting mix, oats, butter, and sugar, stir until blended.
Press into an ungreased 13- x 9- x 2-inch baking pan, bake at 350° for 18 to 20 minutes.
Combine chocolate morsels and peanut butter in top of a double boiler, bring water to a boil.
Reduce heat to low, cook until chocolate melts.
Spread over oat layer.
Cover and chill at least 2 hours.
Cut into bars.
