Ingredients
2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup water
1/2 cup (1 stick) margarine
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup baking cocoa
1/2 cup milk
2 tablespoons vinegar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon baking soda
Chocolate Icing
Directions
Sift the sugar, flour and salt into a large bowl.
Combine the water, margarine, vegetable oil and baking cocoa in a saucepan and bring to the boiling point.
Pour a mixture of the milk, vinegar, eggs, vanilla and baking soda over the dry ingredients.
Stir in the hot cocoa mixture.
Spread in a greased and floured 10x15 inch cake pan.
Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
Spread Chocolate Icing over the hot cake.
