Chocolate Sauce For Ice Cream Recipe
Ingredients
3 tablespoons baking cocoa
1 1/2 cups sugar
Dash of salt
1/3 cup light corn syrup
2/3 cup evaporated milk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Directions
Combine the cocoa, sugar and salt in a saucepan.
Stir in the corn syrup and a few tablespoons of the evaporated milk to make a paste.
Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly.
Boil without stirring for 5 minutes.
Remove from heat.
Stir in the vanilla and the remaining evaporated milk.
Cool.
Chill, covered, until ready to use
