Directions

In a medium saucepan, melt the margarine over medium heat.
Stir in the cocoa powder and prunes.
Let stand at room temperature until cooled.
Stir in the sugar, 1 cup at a time, beating well after each addition.
Stir in the eggs, egg substitute, and vanilla until well mixed.In a small bowl, stir together the flour, baking powder, and cinnamon.
Stir into the chocolate mixture and mix well.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 12 hours.
Preheat the oven to 375°F.
Lightly coat two or three baking sheets with nonstick spray.
Place the powdered sugar in a shallow dish.
Carefully drop a rounded tablespoon of the dough into the powdered sugar, then shape into a ball and roll to coat with powdered sugar.
Transfer to a baking sheet.
Repeat with the remaining dough and powdered sugar, leaving about 2" between the cookies on the baking sheets.
Bake one sheet at a time for 10 minutes, or until almost no imprint remains when a cookie is lighdy touched in the center.
Transfer the cook ies to a wire rack and let cool completely.
