Ingredients

 
Eggs - 4
 
Sugar - 1 cup
 
Dark corn syrup - 1 cup
 
Unsweetened chocolate - 3 squares
 
Pecan halves - 2 cups
 
Pie shell - 1

Directions

1) Preheat oven to 350 F.
2) In a mixer bowl, blend eggs, sugar and dark corn syrup on speed 6 for 1 minute and then Stop and scrape the bowl.
3) Blend on speed to 4 and gradually add melted unsweetened chocolate and beat for 1 minute until well blended.
4) Lower the speed and stir in the pecan halves.
5) Into an ungreased pie plate, place an unbaked pie pastry and pour the mixture in it.
6) Bake for 35-45 minutes until slightly soft in the center.
