Chocolate Oatmeal Cartwheels Recipe
Chocolate Oatmeal Cartwheels are a little different variation of chocolate oatmeal cookies. These cookies are simple and quick to make, soft and chewy to taste. The chocolate oatmeal cartwheels can be made with all the simple available ingredients.
Ingredients
Butter or margarine-1 cup
Brown sugar -2 cups, firmly packed
Eggs-2
Water-1 tablespoon
Orange rind-1 1/2 teaspoon, grated
All-purpose flour-2 cups, sifted
Baking powder -2 teaspoons
Baking soda -3/4 teaspoon
Salt -1 teaspoon
Rolled oats - 1 1/2 cups
Semi-sweet chocolate morsels -1 6-ounce package (1 cup)
Walnuts-1/2 cup, chopped
Directions
MAKING
1)In a bowl, beat together butter and sugar.
2)Add eggs one at a time, with water and orange rind. Beat well.
3)In another bowl, sift in flour, baking powder, soda and salt. Stir until blended.
4)Add oats, semi-sweet chocolate morsels and walnuts. Mix well.
5)Take a lightly greased cookie sheet and drop spoonsful of batter on it.
6)Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
SERVING
7)Serve the chocolate oatmeal cartwheels immediately.
