Coffee Chocolate Mousse Recipe
Chocolate Mousse is very tasty and has a different taste. The fusion of black coffee, orange juice and rum or brandy gives the Chocolate Mousse a very unique taste.
Ingredients
| Semi-sweet chocolate | 6 Ounce | |
| 1/4 cup strong black coffee | ||
| Orange juice | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 2 tbsp rum or brandy | ||
| Eggs | 4 standard | |
Directions
Break the chocolate into pieces.
Put in a bowl with the coffee and orange juice and heat on HIGH for 2 minutes, stir ring once.
The chocolate should have melted; if not, heatfora further 1 minute.
Stir until smooth.
Stir in the rum or brandy.
Separate the eggs and add the yolks to the chocolate, beating well.
Leave the mixture to cool.
In a clean bowl, whisk the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
Fold 2-3 (1-2) tablespoons of the egg white into the chocolate.
Gently fold in the remaining egg white with a metal spoon or spatula, taking care not to let the mixture become flat and heavy.
