Chocolate Mocha Cups Recipe
I am sharing this recipe of Chocolate Mocha Cups which is near and dear to my heart. I prepare this yum Chocolate Mocha Cups as a Dessert every month or even more often. This Chocolate Mocha Cups is too good to be missed.
Ingredients
24 squares plain chocolate or 6 ready made chocolate cases
FILLING:
150 ml/1/4 pt/2/3 cup double cream
30 ml/2 tbsp dark chocolate spread
10 ml/2 tsp instant coffee powder
15 ml/1 tbsp brandy
TO DECORATE:
Chocolate coffee beans
6 silk or fresh flowers to match your colour scheme
Directions
If making your own chocolate cases, melt the chocolate in a bowl over a pan of hot water (or in the microwave).
Put 15 ml/1 tbsp of chocolate into each of eight paper cases (make two extra cases to allow for breakages).
Press a second paper case into each, gently easing the chocolate up the sides between the cases.
Do not press too hard and try to get an even coating.
Chill until firm, then gently peel off the paper cases.
(The more you make these, the easier they get!) Whip the cream until peaking, then blend in the chocolate spread.
Dissolve the coffee in the brandy and stir in.
Spoon into the chocolate cups and swirl the tops with a spoon.
Decorate each with chocolate coffee beans and place in an airtight container.
Chill until ready to pack, surrounded by ice packs.
