Chocolate Cream Pie Recipe

Ingredients
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
3 eggs, slightly beaten
2 1/2 cups milk
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 1/2 oz chocolate
1/4 cup sugar.
1/4 cup milk
1/2 recipe Plain Pastry
Directions
Combine first five ingredients and pour into unbaked pastry shell.
Bate in very hot oven (450 F.) 20 minutes reduce tem-«perature~ to slow oven (325 F.) and bake 15 minutes longer.
Melt chocolate, blend with remaining sugar and milk cook until smooth Spread over top of pie and bake 15 minutes longer or until firm
