Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting Recipe

2 packages (4 ounces each) Baker's German's Sweet Chocolate
 
2 packages (3 ounces each) cream cheese
 
2 tablespoons light cream
 
2 cups powdered sugar
 
1/4 teaspoon salt
 
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions

Place chocolate in small bowl and set over hot water until melted. Cool slightly. Add cream cheese and cream; blend. Add sugar gradually, mixing well. Then add salt and vanilla. Makes enough to spread on tops and sides of two 8- or 9-inch layers, or the tops of about 30 cupcakes. Note: Divide all ingredients in half, except salt, to make about 1 cup frosting, or enough to cover top of 8- or 9-inch square cake. Make this frosting for Sunday-best cakes. It's expensive but worth every cent.
