Chocolate Covered Strawberries Recipe
Ingredients
24 large fresh strawberries, with leaves
6 ounces carob or chocolate chips
Directions
Line a platter with waxed paper.
Wash berries gently but do not remove the green leaves.
Dry them gently on paper towels.
Melt in a small pan set in a pan of hot water over low heat.
You may need to reheat the chocolate as you work.
Do not try to melt the chocolate over direct heat.
Carefully hold each berry by its green leaves and dip it into the melted chocolate to cover the bottom half of the berry, leaving some red showing.
Place each on the paper to firm.
