Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe
Chocolate Chip Cookies is a delicious recipe which I always love to have. I bet, once you have this Chocolate Chip Cookies, you will always crave for some more.
Ingredients
| All purpose flour | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Baking soda | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 1 cup butter or margarine, softened 250 mL | ||
| Granulated Sugar | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 3/4 cup lightly packed brown sugar 175 mL | ||
| Eggs | 2 | |
| Vanilla | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips 250 mL | ||
| Nuts | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
Directions
Combine flour, soda and salt; mix well.
In mixing bowl, cream together butter, granulated and brown sugars, eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy.
Gradually stir in flour mixture until blended.
Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
Shape dough into 2 rolls 2 inches (5 cm) in diameter.
Wrap in waxed paper and chill until firm, about 4 hours or overnight.
For thin crisp cookies, cut dough into 1/4 inch (5 mm) slices.
For thick chewy cookies, cut into 1 inch (2.5 cm) slices and cut each slice into 4 quarters.
Place on ungreased baking sheets, spacing cookies 1 inch (2.5 cm) apart.
Bake in 350°F (180°C) oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
