Chocolate Chip Coffee Cake Recipe

Ingredients
1/2 pound butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
Topping:
1 cup chopped nuts (almonds, walnuts, etc)
1 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
Directions
Cream butter and sugar.
Beat in eggs, flour, baking powder and baking soda.
Add vanilla.
Mix topping.
Grease an angel food pan.
Sprinkle 1/3 topping on bottom of pan; pour in 1/2 batter; add 1/3 more of topping; then remaining batter; top with rest of topping.
Bake at 350°F for 50 minutes.
Note: This batter is very thick and has to be spread with a spatula.
