Chocolate Cake Royal Recipe
Ingredients
3 tablespoons instant coffee powder
1/2 cup boiling water
1 (18.25-ounce) package devil's food cake mix without pudding
1 cup water
2 eggs
Brandy Cream Frosting
Directions
Dissolve coffee powder in 1/2 cup boiling water.
Combine coffee, cake mix, 1 cup water, and eggs.
Mix according to package directions.
Pour batter into a greased and floured 13- x 9- x 2-inch baking pan.
Bake at 350° for 40 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool in pan 10 minutes; remove from pan to wire rack, and let cool completely.
Spread with Brandy Cream Frosting.
