2/3 cup all purpose flour
 
1/2 cup sugar
 
3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
 
1 teaspoon baking powder
 
1/3 cup water
 
1/4 cup oil
 
1 egg, beaten
 
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
 
1/4 cup chopped nuts

Directions

Line bottom of a 1-quart shallow micro-proof dish with waxed paper.
Set aside.
Stir together flour, sugar, cocoa, and baking powder in 2-quart mixing bowl.
Stir in water, oil, egg, and vanilla; mix thoroughly.
Stir in nuts.
Pour batter evenly into prepared dish.
Cook on 70, 3 minutes.
Rotate dish.
Cook on 70, 3 minutes.
Remove from oven and let cake cool in dish 5 minutes.
Invert cake onto serving plate.
Remove waxed paper.
Serve with ice cream and hot fudge sauce.
