Chocolate Cake Recipe
This is a kid friendly Chocolate Cake Recipe. My grand mother used to make this Chocolate Cake whenever I visited her. This reminds me of sweet memories of childhood. Ingredients
| Maida | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Beaten curd | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 cup Fine Sugar | ||
| Oil | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cocoa powder | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Baking powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Baking soda | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Few drops Vanilla Essence | ||
| Salt | 1 Pinch | |
| Chopped Walnuts | ||
| Melted Butter and flour for greasing | ||
Directions
Sieve the Maida, salt, baking powder, soda and cocoa powder.
In another bowl beat the curd and add sugar to it. Keep on mixing. Pour the oil and mix it well. Then add the essence, with walnuts on top. To this batter add the sieved mixture slowly and mix it thoroughly.
Preheat the greased baking pan at 180 degrees for few min. Put the batter in it and bake the cake for 35 min.
