Ingredients
2 squares unsweetened baking chocolate
1/2 cup butter or margarine
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped nuts
Directions
In a 10 ounce custard cup, place chocolate and butter.
Cover with wax paper.
Microwave on HIGH (100%) for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 minutes or until butter melts.
Stir mixture until chocolate melts; set aside.
In a medium size bowl, beat eggs with an electric mixer until slightly thickened.
Gradually add sugar and vanilla; beat until thickened.
Beat in chocolate mixture, flour, and salt.
Stir in nuts.
Pour batter into a lightly greased 8 inch square baking dish.
Microwave, uncovered, on MEDIUM HIGH (70%) for 8 to 10 minutes.
Brownies should spring back when lightly pressed in center; moist spots, when touched, should come off on your finger and cake underneath should be dry.
