Recipe Story

Chocolate is one of my all time favorite. I love brownies. This is a standard receipe. Sometimes I add cardamom powder to it. I have also tried a variation with brownies and cream cheese. For this receipe I creamed cheese with sugar and some yolk and then piped strips on the brownie mixture before baking. You can flavor the cream cheese with star anise seed powder and it just takes u to uuuuummm......

Ingredients

 
125gms Chocolate
 
375gms brown sugar
 
150gms butter
 
half tspn vanilla essence
 
4 eggs
 
150 gms all purpose flour (Maida)
 
60 gms walnuts (use nuts of your choice)
 
90 gms raisins
 
little cocoa powder (1 tab spoon)

Directions

Line a baking tray with parchment paper. (tray size 28x18x4cm)
Melt butter an chocolate on a double boiler.
Beat sugar vanilla and eggs to a smooth batter (evenly mixed)
Fold in the flour, nuts and rasins. Pour into the baking tray.
Spread evenly and bake 350degree f or 180degree centi for 50 minutes or until the mixture raise and is firm to touch
Remove from oven, cool and invert to remove the parchment paper.
Dredge with coca powder or apply some melted chocolate over the browinies
