Directions

MAKING
1. Melt all the ingredients until smooth and blended.
2. This can be done over medium heat in a saucepan on the stove, in the microwave, or in a double boiler (I did it in a sauce pan on the stove).
3. Let it cool for about 5 minutes and pour over ice cream.
4. It takes just a few seconds for it to start to harden; it isn't quite as instant as the store bought topping.

SERVING
5. Warm it up to serve. Leftovers can be refrigerated and rewarmed as needed either on the stove or in the microwave.

Editors Review

Chocolate lovers, here is another recipe to have under your culinary belt. This Chocolate Sauce Topping for Ice Cream is a luscious topping that can also be used for other desserts. It also hardens up like the magical store bought sauce topping. Try it with your ice cream or cake next time, you will love it!
