Chocolate Pecan Rounds Recipe
Ingredients
| All purpose flour | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), sifted | |
| Baking soda | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Wheat germ | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Pecans | 1 Cup (16 tbs), coarsely chopped | |
| Unsweetened chocolate square | 2 | |
| Butter/Margarine | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Granulated Sugar | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Firmly packed light brown sugar | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Egg | 1 | |
| Milk | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Vanilla | 2 Teaspoon |
Directions
1. Sift flour, baking soda and salt into a medium-size bowl; stir in wheat germ and pecans.
2. Melt chocolate with butter or margarine in a small, heavy saucepan over low heat; pour into a large bowl. Cool to lukewarm.
3. Beat granulated and brown sugars into chocolate mixture; beat in egg, milk and vanilla. Stir in flour mixture until well blended. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls, 1 inch apart, onto lightly greased cookie sheets.
4. Bake in moderate oven (350°) 10 minutes, or until firm. Remove from cookie sheets to wire racks; cool.
