Chocolate Peanut Cookies Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter/Margarine | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Egg | 1 | |
| Vanilla | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 1 1-ounce square unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled | ||
| All purpose flour | 1 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Baking powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Peanuts | 1 Cup (16 tbs), finely chopped | |
Directions
Cream butter and sugar till light.
Beat in egg and vanilla.
Blend in chocolate.
Stir together flour and baking powder; blend into creamed mixture.
Chill.
Shape into 1-inch balls.
Roll in peanuts.
Place on ungreased baking sheet about 2 inches apart; flatten with bottom of glass.
Bake at 350° for 10 minutes.
