Chocolate Peanut Cookies Recipe
Ingredients
1 cup butter or margarine, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups chocolate-covered peanuts
Directions
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Line cookie sheets with parchment paper or leave ungreased.
Cream butter with sugars, eggs and vanilla in large bowl until light.
Beat in baking soda and salt.
Stir in flour to make stiff dough.
Blend in chocolate-covered peanuts.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto cookie sheets.
Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until just barely golden.
Do not overbake.
Remove to wire racks to cool.
