Ingredients
| Unsalted butter | 50 Gram | |
| Grated rind of 1 orange | ||
| Unsweetened cocoa powder | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Caster sugar | 5 Gram | |
| Eggs | 2 , beaten | |
| Almonds | 150 Gram, chopped | |
| Cornflour | 1 1/2 Tablespoon | |
Directions
Melt the butter and grate the orange rind.
Using a wooden spoon, mix all the ingredients together in a bowl until you have a smooth, evenly textured dough.
Chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F), gas mark 4.
Put small pieces of dough onto baking sheet lined with nonstick baking parchment and use a spoon to flatten the pieces into rounds, making them as thin as possible.
Bake in the preheated oven until they turn a slightly darker colour - keep a close watch.
Take them out of the oven and remove one at a time from the baking sheet, quickly shaping them into a 'tile' by laying them across a rolling pin while still hot.
Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place.
